Another Winning Award for Samuel De Champlain Bridge
SYSTRA IBT, together with Design Joint Venture partners TYLin and SNC Lavalin, has received the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) of California Honor Award for its work on the Samuel De Champlain Bridge.
The award was made during the 4th Annual Scholarship Foundation Fundraising Dinner of ACEC California, the USA’s largest Member Organization in the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC), on the 13th of February in Los Angeles. This event included the presentation of the ACEC California Engineering Excellence Awards (EEA). Winning this award means eligibility for another one at ACEC’s Annual Engineering Excellence Awards Gala, the engineering industry’s highest-profile event, to be held in Washington, D.C., later this year.
“We are delighted to have received this award and to have participated in an event which provides scholarship awards to graduate and undergraduate students who are acknowledged for their excellent academic accomplishments,” noted Anthony Sanchez, Principal Bridge Engineer, who represented SYSTRA IBT to receive the Honor Award. “We are now looking forward to the 2020 EEA Gala which will be another prestigious occasion on which to celebrate the engineering profession’s most outstanding achievements.”
